About Us

Sylvia Nagle qualified with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1989. She has a wide range of experience, working in the public sector in Ireland, UK and USA. She has worked with a variety of sports clubs, including GAA, rugby, soccer and the Irish Racing Board Turf club.

In 1994 Sylvia completed a three year post-graduate course in acupuncture from the British College of Acupuncture. This training continued with a programme in the European College of Acupuncture, in Malta and Nanjing University, China. Recently, she has undertaken training in scalp acupuncture in Chinese and Japanese (Yamamoto) styles.

Sylvia has developed a keen interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. In 2016 she completed a Master’s Degree in Continence (bowel/bladder) in Bradford University, UK.

She continues to further her physiotherapy training with courses in orthotics, manual lymphatic drainage and orthopaedic programmes.


Professional membership includes: Society of Orthopaedic Medicine(UK) Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Continence, British Medical Acupuncture,

As a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists Sylvia is affiliated to clinical interest groups to include CPA (Chartered Physiotherapists in Acupuncture), CPMT (Chartered Physiotherapists in musculoskeletal therapy), Rheumatology (CPR), Women’s Health & Continence (CPWHC) and Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (CPPP).
