About Us

Sylvia Nagle qualified with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1989. She has a wide range of experience, working in the public sector in Ireland, UK and USA. She has worked with a variety of sports clubs, including GAA, rugby, soccer and the Irish Racing Board Turf club.

In 1994 Sylvia completed a three year post-graduate course in acupuncture from the British College of Acupuncture. This training continued with a programme in the European College of Acupuncture, in Malta and Nanjing University, China. Recently, she has undertaken training in scalp acupuncture in Chinese and Japanese (Yamamoto) styles.

Sylvia has developed a keen interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation. In 2016 she completed a Master’s Degree in Continence (bowel/bladder) in Bradford University, UK.

She continues to further her physiotherapy training with courses in orthotics, manual lymphatic drainage and orthopaedic programmes.

Professional membership includes: Society of Orthopaedic Medicine(UK) Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Continence, British Medical Acupuncture,
